LOVE NEVER FAILS...
St. Paul wrote these words centuries ago and their truth has endured down through the ages. LOVE NEVER FAILS,..LOVE NEVER ENDS! Not even death can overcome it!
During November, the Month of All Souls, the Church gives us a strong reminder of love’s ability to withstand the test of time...to reach out...and to keep reaching out beyond life, beyond even death itself.
November is the time for us to recall the quality of that love given us by our parents...our relatives.. .our friends...love which never failed us, never ceased as long as they were here with us to see us through any and all of life’s difficulties.
Pray for your beloved dead! Today, during November and often throughout the year. Try to give some time...some thought to them every day. However short your prayers... however brief your thoughts, nothing will help them or please them more.

for Parents
Merciful Father, it is Your will that all of us share in Your divine life, through the sufferings and death of Jesus. Your Son, our Lord and Redeemer. I pray to You now for my parents asking for them, through Your mercy and love, a place of eternal rest and never ending happiness. In life they made many sacrifices for me. In death. I commend their souls to You. Father, to reward them as You alone can with a heavenly home in the presence of You and the Saints for ever. Amen.

for Mother
Loving Father, I offer You this prayer for my mother, through the merits of Mary, the Mother of Christ and the Patroness of all Mothers. Like Mary’s life, my mother’s life was one of sacrifice and service. No sacrifice was too great, no work too demanding for her in raising me to know and to love You. Bless her with the happiness she so richly deserves, Father, and bring her to the eternal happiness she has earned. Amen.

for Father
God, our Father, Your Son and our Savior. Jesus, taught us to call You Father and to turn to You in prayer for ourselves and for one another. Hear this prayer I offer for my father. Faith in You and in the promises of Your Son were the gifts he gave me upon which to build my life in this world. May Your reward for his dedication to Your will and Your work be a place of light and peace without end in Your company. Amen.

for Relatives
Heavenly Father, I ask Your mercy for the souls of my beloved relatives and friends. While in this world, their lives reflected an abiding faith and love in You. In death, I place their hopes for eternal life in Your loving hands. Bring them to the reward which You reserve for those who have done Your will and Your work in this life so that their voices may be added to those of the Saints to thank You and to praise You for ever. Amen.

for Priests
Almighty and merciful God, Father of Jesus Christ, the Eternal High Priest, hear this prayer I offer for all priests who have died but especially for those to whom I owe so much and for whom I now pray. You called them in this world to be other Christs and to be ministers of the sacraments of salvation and life. In death, I ask for them a share in that pardon and peace which they brought to so many of us in Your name. Amen.

for the Dying
Lord God, I ask Your mercy for those who are dying at this hour and for those who will die the world over throughout this day. Be their strength and support in their sufferings. May their faith in Your mercy and love be their consolation. Pardon their sins and be their protection from the temptations and the doubts in the face of death. Help them to think most, Father, of Your love for them and of the reward You have in store for them for ever. Amen.

for all the Dead
Accept this prayer which I offer You, merciful Father, for those who have died, those who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith and those whose faith in this life was known to You alone. Have mercy on them all and bring them into Your kingdom of peace and light without end where You and Your Saints live in the happiness which this world has not known and cannot give. Amen.

for a Happy Death
Father of mercy and love, I pray to You for the blessing ofa happy death, a death in which I will experience the consolation of Mary, my Mother and of Joseph, Patron of A Happy Death. May my faith in You and my hope in Your word and my love for Your work be my strength in my last hours of life. Keep me close to You in this life, Father, so that when the time to die comes, I may be worthy to share in the happiness You promise through the merits of Jesus, my Redeemer. Amen.
