The Catholic Cemeteries Association currently has a variety of on-going and completed cemetery projects for customers to view. To find out the most up-to-date project information, or to inquire about sales for these new projects, please contact a cemetery office or The Catholic Cemeteries Association at: 412-521-9133. Mausoleum Projects An important duty of The Catholic Cemeteries Association is the ongoing assessment of the burial needs of Catholic families throughout the diocese. As these needs are determined, plans are set in place to develop projects that will best meet those needs. This may involve opening a new section in cemeteries with available land, or building a mausoleum or garden crypt project for above-ground burial. It may even involve the opening of a new cemetery, as when Holy Savior Cemetery was developed in l990, to accommodate the increasing number of Catholic families in northern Allegheny County. The Catholic Cemeteries Association has been conducting an ambitious mausoleum development program, designed to provide above-ground entombment options for Catholic families in all diocesan cemeteries. With a definite rise in the number of families desiring entombment, this program will provide both indoor chapel crypts and outdoor garden crypts, with prices and payment programs to accommodate all budgets. |
